Privacy policy

This policy explains how YourTech IT Solutions handles information for its website, mobile IT services, remote support, and connected providers.

Information we collect

Depending on the service requested, YourTech may collect contact details, preferred contact method, city and ZIP code, service location, device and operating-system details, scheduling choices, a plain-language problem description, job status, consent evidence, invoice records, and support communications. Public intake does not accept files. Do not submit passwords, PINs, government identification numbers, complete payment credentials, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

Private diagnostic reports may include device identifiers, local paths, configuration evidence, scan results, and errors needed for an active job. Administrative security records may include timestamps, event types, pseudonymous request indicators, authentication events, and actions taken in the owner portal. YourTech minimizes these records and does not intentionally place passwords, remote session codes, payment tokens, or complete diagnostic contents in application logs.

How information is used

YourTech uses information to respond to requests; assess remote, on-site, consultation, or recovery needs; schedule and provide service; document authorization; prepare quotes and invoices; secure the owner portal; investigate abuse; maintain private reports; meet lawful recordkeeping needs; and respond to privacy, accessibility, or security requests. YourTech does not sell personal information.

Service providers and disclosures

  • Vercel hosts the website and may process ordinary delivery, security, and error information.
  • Supabase supports private owner authentication, minimal job references, consent and authorization records, audit events, and private diagnostic-report storage when configured.
  • Zoho Forms may process public intake; Zoho Bookings scheduling; Zoho Meeting consultations or training; Zoho SalesIQ route-specific text chat if later enabled; Zoho Invoice quotes, invoices, customer-portal access, and hosted payment links; and Zoho Mail service communications.
  • Zoho Assist is the preferred attended remote-support provider. Splashtop SOS is the paid fallback. Only the selected and enabled provider processes a session.
  • Stripe and PayPal may process approved card, debit-card, or PayPal payments on provider-hosted invoice pages if live gateways are later enabled. Raw payment credentials do not pass through YourTech website forms. YourTech does not offer ACH, Pay by Bank, or direct bank-account payment through this website.

Providers process information under their own terms, privacy notices, account settings, security controls, and data-location practices. A feature being named here does not mean it is currently active.

Optional AI-assisted analysis

No diagnostic report is sent to ChatGPT or another AI provider automatically. If AI-assisted analysis is appropriate for a job, a technician must first create or select a redacted report, review it for unnecessary content, and deliberately submit only the minimum useful material to the chosen AI tool. The full private report is not automatically transmitted. Customer files and malware samples are not uploaded through this workflow. Redaction is designed to reduce unnecessary personal information by removing or replacing configured identifiers where practical, but it does not guarantee anonymity; device facts or stable replacement tokens needed to interpret the report may remain. AI recommendations are advisory. A technician reviews any output before acting, and AI-generated commands cannot be executed automatically or change a customer device.

Retention and deletion

Private diagnostic reports are retained while the related job is open and ordinarily remain eligible for service use for up to 90 days after job closure. After that date they are eligible for owner-controlled deletion; the current system does not claim automatic deletion. Administrative audit events are retained for at least 12 months for security review and accountability. Continuing-access authorization records are retained for 24 months after expiration, revocation, recorded agent removal, or job closure—whichever occurs last. Retaining an authorization record does not keep remote access active.

Invoices, payment-provider records, communications, disputes, security incidents, and other records may be retained longer when reasonably needed for the transaction, an active request, fraud or security investigation, provider requirements, or a lawful obligation. To request access, correction, or deletion of eligible YourTech-held information, contact support@yourtechit.com. YourTech may need to verify the requester and may direct provider-specific requests to the provider that controls the record.

Cookies and provider scripts

The current informational site does not load a general analytics, advertising, SalesIQ, payment, Zoho form, Zoho booking, or remote-support script on every page. The homepage loads no optional provider script. Forms, bookings, invoices, and remote support are reached through a deliberate link to the provider site, where that provider controls its cookies and local storage. The protected owner portal may use essential authentication and security storage.

If a nonessential chat or embedded-provider script is enabled later, it must be restricted to the relevant route and reviewed for an appropriate consent or deliberate-load control before activation. Disabling such a feature leaves a phone and support-email fallback.

Security and location

YourTech uses layered access controls, multi-factor authentication requirements, private storage, short-lived links, one-use upload authorization, input limits, audit events, and provider account controls where configured. No security measure can guarantee that loss, misuse, or unauthorized access will never occur. Providers may process information in regions described in their own service terms and account settings.
