Mobile service and written scope
YourTech provides mobile IT service in St. Louis, Missouri and surrounding areas, and remote service where appropriate. The Hazelwood address is an administrative mailing address only. Mobile service—no walk-ins, unscheduled drop-offs, retail-counter service, or customer visits. Fixed published pricing covers only the stated service scope. Quote-based work requires a written or documented quote, and additional work outside the agreed scope requires customer approval. The written quote or service record controls the agreed work, price, location, timing, included materials, and any separately listed third-party cost.
Authority and cooperation
A customer may request work only on a device, account, network, or data the customer is authorized to control. YourTech will not assist with bypassing another person’s credentials or access controls. The customer must provide accurate information, disclose known physical or electrical hazards, and remain available when an attended session or decision requires customer participation.
Remote-service feasibility
A remote appointment does not guarantee that a problem can be resolved remotely. The device generally must power on, reach a usable login or desktop, have a workable internet connection, and safely run the approved temporary provider application. Power or hardware failure, severe network outage, liquid damage, a swollen or dangerous battery, another physical repair, failed storage, severe compromise, or certain data-recovery conditions may require on-site assessment, parts, replacement, clean installation, or specialist recovery work. The technician may select a safer service method. Final method and price are confirmed by YourTech.
Backups, repair, and recovery risk
Customers are responsible for maintaining appropriate current backups. YourTech uses reasonable safeguards and supported methods, but diagnosis, transfer, repair, cleanup, reset, and recovery can involve interruption, compatibility problems, data loss, or an unsuccessful result. Data recovery is not guaranteed. A suspected-malware package may require scanning or isolation before restoration.
Security remediation
No scan or cleanup can guarantee that every threat, persistence mechanism, or unauthorized change is found or removed. Severe compromise may require a reset, clean operating-system installation, credential changes performed by the customer, account-provider assistance, or device replacement. YourTech does not disable security controls or create broad exclusions merely to complete a repair.
Remote support and recording
Attended remote support requires current, job-linked permission and customer participation. The customer can end the session. Standard attended support does not silently create continuing access. Continuing access requires a separate device-specific authorization stating purpose, scope, start, expiration, technician, and revocation method; it is time-limited to no more than 30 days. Renewal or a scope change requires a new affirmative authorization record. Recording and file transfer are not included unless separately disclosed and authorized.
Training, consulting, and AI tools
Training, recommendations, automation planning, and AI-assisted analysis depend on the information available and third-party products involved. No report is sent to an AI provider automatically. A technician must deliberately review and submit a minimized redacted copy when such analysis is selected. AI output is reviewed by a person and cannot execute commands on a customer device.
Third-party products and costs
Hardware, software, domains, subscriptions, licenses, cloud services, APIs, AI platforms, remote-support tools, payment providers, and other third-party products remain subject to their provider terms, availability, compatibility, fees, and account controls. Those costs are separate unless a written quote expressly includes them. YourTech cannot promise continued compatibility or availability of a third-party service.
Quotes, invoices, and payments
Zoho Invoice is the billing system of record when configured. A customer may use an approved provider-hosted card, debit-card, or PayPal option shown on the applicable invoice or customer portal when live gateways are enabled; Stripe and PayPal terms apply when their hosted method is used. Raw payment credentials do not pass through the YourTech public intake form. YourTech does not offer ACH, Pay by Bank, or direct bank-account payment through this website. Discounts for seniors, veterans, and religious organizations may be available; eligibility, scope, and final pricing are confirmed in the written quote, and discounts are not automatically applied or stacked.
Policies stated only when actually agreed
This website does not state a standard warranty duration, refund period, cancellation fee, travel-charge schedule, parts-order rule, or tax promise. If one of those subjects applies to a job, the actual policy must appear in the written quote, appointment notice, invoice, provider terms, or another record accepted for that job. Silence on this page does not create such a policy.
No guaranteed outcome
YourTech provides services with reasonable care within the agreed scope, but does not promise a particular repair, recovery, security, performance, automation, compatibility, or business result. Nothing on this page claims a professional license, insurance coverage, compliance certification, or attorney approval.
