Separate private record
The authorization identifies the job, verified relationship, provider, non-identifying device alias, purpose, permitted scope, separate consent reference, technician, approval and start times, expiration, file-transfer choice, recording choice, revocation instructions, and final agent-removal status. It is not created by public sign-up.
Time limit and renewal
Active continuing access cannot exceed 30 days and does not default to an indefinite term. Renewal or any change in purpose, scope, provider, device, file transfer, or recording requires a new affirmative authorization record. The earlier record remains unchanged.
Installation
A persistent agent may be installed only during an attended session or on-site visit while the customer knows what is being installed and how it will be used. No unattended installer, enrollment secret, or anonymous enrollment control is published on this website.
Revocation and removal
The customer may revoke permission at any time by telling the technician or contacting YourTech. YourTech records revocation, removes or disables the device in the provider console, records agent removal, and provides provider-specific uninstall instructions. Expiration ends authorization even if removal follow-up is still being documented.
Authorization record retention
The private authorization record is retained for 24 months after expiration, revocation, recorded agent removal, or job closure—whichever occurs last—for accountability and dispute or security review. Keeping that record does not extend access, reactivate an agent, or authorize a new session.
Recording and file transfer
Sessions are not recorded by default. Recording requires separate notice and authorization. File transfer must be deliberately authorized, limited to the stated job scope, and handled under the repair-data practices.
